Started shooting in 1985 with Frome & District Pistol Club. Achieved success at Club, County, Country (England) and International competitions with Gallery Rifle, culminating in shooting for Great Britain 2010 - 2019. Achieved X class ranking in 1500 GRCF Gallery Rifle &  previous Phoenix record holder and Grand Master medal winner.

Career highlights include appointment as the inaugural GR Team Captain on formation of the GB Squad in 2010, and again in 2011 & 2017, leading the GB team to success in multiple events at home and abroad.

On 'retirement' from the squad, assumed the role of UK NRA Discipline lead for Gallery Rifle & Pistol and Chairman of the GB  Management Committee 2020 - 2026.

Continues to support GB and the wider Gallery Rifle & Pistol community as a qualified Chief Range Officer, Gallery Rifle Instructor and of course, he remains an enthusiastic shooter on the National scene.
