Jacky Lamb

After volunteering on reception at Bisley for a number of years, Jacky decided to have a go herself and hasn’t looked back. She started with Gallery Rifle, first small bore, then later centre fire and has shot in local, national and international competitions and shot for GB in the 2023 IGRF Irish International and was the top lady finisher in the National Championships for GR Centrefire in 2021, 2022 and 2023. She is now turning her hand to handgun shooting and competes in PPC1500 revolver & pistol matches in Germany.

As well as being an active shooter, Jacky is an active volunteer. She supported Ash Dagger, the GR&P Discipline Lead, in setting up the GR&P Working Party in 2019 and has only recently handed over the Secretary role. She has been Secretary & Treasurer of the GB GR&HG Committee also since 2019 and has now handed over the Treasurer role to Charles Murton. She was the GB Team Adjutant, supporting Gary Bowden from 2019 – 2022 and Morné van Dalen 2023, 2024 and again for Germany this year. She is also the Adjutant supporting Dave Harris this year for the Tour to the WA1500 European Championships in The Czech Republic.

Jacky is a qualified Range Safety Officer, an Instructor for the NRA’s Handgun Skills Course and a regular in the Stats Team of Bisley GR&P events. She is also the Club Secretary of the SLG Bisley Club (a joint British / German club) and organises the annual SLG Bisley Open competition at Bisley.
