Chris was introduced to Gallery Rifle shooting in 2013 after joining Joint Services Pistol Club in the Scottish Borders.
His competitive journey progressed quickly. In 2014, Chris was selected for the Scotland Gallery Rifle Team, marking the beginning of his involvement in high-level competition. His leadership and experience within the squad have since been recognised, and he now serves as Captain of the Scotland Gallery Rifle & Pistol Team for 2026–2027.
In 2025, Chris reached another major milestone when he was selected to join the GB Gallery Rifle Squad. He made his international debut at the 2025 Phoenix Meeting, shooting for the GB GRCF Team—a proud moment and an important step in his shooting career.
Chris’ career highlights include being three-time Scottish Rifle Champion. He also holds four Scottish Gallery Rifle records. In 2023, he added another major title to his achievements when he was crowned GRCF National Champion.
Chris continues to compete with the ambition of representing Great Britain at the highest level while contributing to the ongoing success of the GB Gallery Rifle Team.
